Aluminium Oxide (Al₂O₃ ) 

Alumina is commenly used as high temperature material. It is found in furnaces and due to its high chemical resisitance in the industry. A well known crystal structure is Sapphire. Ruby is a gem stone which ows it’s red colour to traces of chromium in the lattice.
